Lady at Skansen
June 2005/Stockholm/Fuji Sensia 100
At Skansen, They were houses of a Rich farmer, Worker, Carpenter n etc.. In every house some ppl(mostly women) were living.. dressed in typical Swedish dress.
I wanted to shoot them but the light was very low n flash wasn't allowed.
At one house this lady I shot this lady, I guess She is suppose to be Wife of a Rich Farmer.

beautiful potrait satz... i think timurilenk's idea of a white sheet of paper would have been useful in getting the other part of the face in a little bit of light. but even without that, this is a nice potrait.
i dont care if the light wasnt enough satz....this is a wonderful portrait... the colour, the composition..all..
i wish the expression wasnt this smiling and concious!! probably you couldnt avoid that!
Light is pretty good here, infact it adds to the portrait! no problem at all. really a nice shot

Ya Ian, White paper shd hav been gud.. But i didn't think n i wanted this shoot some1 in this lighting.. finally got it :-)
In most of the homes at the museum, there were some bful women, but lighting wasn't gud n only here I got gud lighting n not many ppl there visitors to disturb her :P
@Kishore.. I've captured bful Swedish women thru my cam.. wld post them :P
