This one of my fav snap.. I guess lighting isn't tat gr8.. I guess I didn't metered it properly ;(

I shot this when I didn't know much abt DOF.. And it was moving .. I got 2 capture it n i shot in auto mode.. but I like this pic.. i guess tat tree with flowers makes it very atractive ;)

(1) I'd actually suggest the reverse. Go for a larger aparture, f/5.6 or f/8.0 ... that way you can blur the background further. (2) When you framed, did you notice the house? (3) I'd suggest a tighter crop, a bit less of the wood, and closer to the monkey. (4) Finally, it may be the eyes that can give the picture a brilliant touch. I understand it is hard to focus on the eye of a male indian langur (uniform black face), but this is a general point in animal/human photography (visibility of the eyes).

And I believe your metering was correct.

even I didn't notice tat house ;)

I havn't learned the Photoshop yet.. I need to.. so tat I can do some post processing.. rt now I'm not doing any processing..

You r rt.. eyes gives u good touch to the photographs ;)

I guess it's really gud to shoot 2 pics one with shallow DOF and other with deep DOF.. which ever is gud.. we can use them ;)
