@Vasu: I shot this with Close-up filters, Problem with the filters is that while shooting you cant see the subject clearly.. so you don't know where your focused and a slight movement of camera will screw up the picture. It's worth to invest on Macro/Micro lenses.. but they r damn costly :(
hey grat picutre satz . i like the shot of the whole grass hopper cause these things keep moving about . And to get such a grat pic with the vividness of colours is great,Only if you could take another snap from the front focusins on the eyes . but all said and done great SNAP SHOT MATE.

good close shot... the colors have come out very well :-)
WOW...the range of colours on that tiny creature are amazing!!!
wow, the patterns on the hopper's body have come out beautifully, is it possible to reduce impact of background to highlight the subject more?
Nice one :)
Nice pictures satz... Just one thing, your focus should have been on the grasshopper's face/eyes...
I know how difficult it is, esp when these jumping jackss hop around at will and when you are dead tierd walking uphill.
I never clicked one photograph while trekking up. All my photos are after reaching base camp :)
nice effort

Satz, You know the problem with this picture is that, the focus is locked on to the body than to the head.
