Wish I had a Macro lens, I shot this with Close-Up filter at 300mm..

yeah - actually yo know what, sharpness and macro go really well together. I liked the soft look, but it is too soft. Did you use a tripod?

The softness adds a new angle to the image, actually. Just a little less blurriness and it would be alrite.

The second one is actually better.

And how close does a macro lens allow you to get?

@Kousik: I shot this with 3+ Closeup filter at 300mm with Tripod.. thats why i got it very soft.. i liked the light.. so i just tried this shot.. i'm happy with the result:-)

@Sat: Bcoz i got so close to it.. it's blurred.. I use Close-Up(Macro) filter.. macro lens r bit costly.. but i guess i need to go for that..
